Why Lambda Chi?: I wanted to be part of what I knew would be the biggest, best, and most professional fraternity on campus in the future. The ideals and principals of Lambda Chi Alpha lined up with my own and I knew that I would become a better man by being involved with LXA. I was looking for something that would improve my life not only during college, but for the rest of my life.
Something about yourself: I grew up in Glen Ellyn, IL with my sister and parents. I moved down to St. Louis when I started StLCoP and lived in the dorms for a year, then in an apartment for the next 4. My only roommate has been Patrick Harper and I would have had it no other way. I am now living with my girlfriend of 2.5 years (as of today’s date) at her parents’ house in Columbia, IL and am loving it. I was lucky enough to get 7/8 of the rotations that I wanted and will be doing rotations in Columbia and Belleville, IL; St. Louis, MO; Anchorage, AK; Tampa, FL; Rockville, MD (By Washington DC); and Springfield, MO
What other activities are you involved with on campus? Student Council, Campus Activities Board
Nicknames and how you got them: • Left Eye
o When I drink alcoholic beverages, my right eye closes more than my left. So by the end of the night, you can basically only see my left eye. I later found out that this was due to my eyesight changing, and my right eye having worse vision than my left.
• HighBar
o This was the apparatus I competed on in gymnastics during my high school career. I finished my career with a disappointing 13th place in Illinois but continued to compete on the Illinois State Team where we won the National Championship (1st time ever for Illinois) in Texas.
Where you going after graduation? • To work for the United States Public Health Service (don’t know the location yet)
